This spectacular home, built in 1990, served as Tannin's model home. Designed by internationally recognized Architect Melanie Taylor, this home has been in numerous magazines including; Southern Living, Coastal Living, Architectural Record, and The Atlantic.
The center of the home has a 21 foot tall atrium. There are 3 bedrooms, two full baths, outdoor shower, large front porch, and a deck in the back yard for sunning.
The house is approximately 1547 sq. feet.
The Guest House is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with its own private pool. The open kitchen/dining and living area makes it easy to enjoy family time together. Front bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. Second bedroom also has a queen bed with a set of bunk beds. There is one full bathroom on the first floor which includes the outdoor shower. The loft upstairs includes a queen bed with its own bathroom and outdoor balcony.
The front porch is spacious with patio furniture to sit outside and enjoy a relaxed afternoon. The home is located near many restaurants, bars, shopping and a short walk to the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. If you bring your own boat, there are numerous community launch areas. There is The Historic Fort Morgan or The Naval Air Museum, each only about a 45 minute drive. And don't forget the exciting new OWA Amusement Park, shopping, and dining experience just 14 miles north of this home.
We have a waterway behind our home where turtles come by for a snack. We have a small deck for sunning on and a table, chairs and umbrella if you want to use while grilling (we have a propane gas grill, charcoal grill, and small electric grill). We accept payment through check, Square, and Venmo.

We use this property as our escape from work and meetings. We operate a 40 year old catfish restaurant in Gulfport MS. We pray often that our daughter and her family will step in full time so that we can start our retirement and work on our bucket list.
This place is amazing. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels, linens, dishes. The owners are helpful and responsive to questions. The location on the canal behind the house is great. Our kids loved using the kayak provided by the owners. The deck and front porch are so nice. We brought four of our 5 kids this trip so having the bunkbeds was great. And I didn't expect to love the outdoor shower, but I did! So much! The community deeded beach access is a very quick walk/golf cart ride away. Great walking trails close by and convenient to restaurants, shopping and public beaches. We will definitely stay again!
