Memorable Thanksgiving

Our group of four adults had a wonderful stay at Orange Beach. The trip was especially memorable because of the wonderful condo we stayed in. The owner, Kathy, is such a marvelous hostess. We haven't met, but by the time we arrived, I felt like we were staying in the home of a friend. The condo is cozy and beautifully decorated with bright walls and a tropical theme. I think she even arranged perfect weather for us! Everything we needed was there, including beach chairs and umbrella. My daughter prepared a complete Thanksgiving dinner. All we had to provide was the food. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware and small appliances. When we go back to Orange Beach, we will check first with Kathy.

Charming...

Yes! Yes! Yes! We would absolutely recommend this condo...We are already planning on booking our next vacation!! Kathy was most kind, and so easy to work with. The condo was super clean, and I would give the amenities a 10. The view from the balcony was amazing, and the weather was perfect. Looking forward to next year :)

Amazing!

We travel to Gulf Shores often and would HIGHLY recommend this condo! Clean, neat, organized! Everything was perfect. But it was the EXTRAS that got me! Umbrellas and chairs, skim boards, shovel, net and pail, cooler, binoculars.... all the little stuff that you usually have to bring or buy or rent when you get there! Kathy provided ALL these extras tucked away in the closet! These are the kind of things she doesn't HAVE to do, but does anyway. That really made a difference for me! Facility was nice and clean - security guards were very friendly and always present. We enjoyed the beach, eating, shopping, and The Track. Kids had a great time too! Joy, the housekeeper, had the unit available early for us to check in (although we didn't), and was very helpful and friendly when we were checking out. We will definitely be coming back next year! Thanks Kathy! We had an AWESOME trip!

Thanks for the great review. We're pleased that your family had a great time and enjoyed "the extras". Although we do attempt to supply some of the extras, we can not guarantee that to be the case from week to week. Chairs may break, toys get lost, etc. and there is not time for our housekeeper to replace the items between guests. We are glad that you were able to enjoy everything that was there and that you are planning to return next year.

Atlanta Ga

Wow this place is nice!!!! Clean, decor colorful and decorated very nice....the view is unique and place rates a 10.....Kathy is great to work with and the housekeeper Joy is so friendly and caring....we saw daily dolphins from our large balcony,.....took the Fly Oasis helicopter trip, Surfs Up Dolphin cruise, ate at Shrimp Basket, Cottons, DQ, Tacky Jacks, went to the Wharf rode the ferris wheel and the Spectra was colorful and neat.....we had a blast and the trip went by to fast...we will return and Kathy you are great!!!!!! Thanks for a great time!!!!!!

Great for dolphin sighting!

We brought our daughter down for Spring Break and were truly amazed at the view. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures and Kathy was great to work with! We got to watch dolphins swimming not too far off shore every day so that was an added bonus ; ) Thanks again Kathy, we will definitely be staying here again!

Thanks for posting a review. We have owned our condo since 2003. Every time we visit we are still amazed at what a wonderful view we have and we never get tired of watching the dolphins! We are so glad you were pleased with the accommodations and enjoyed your stay. We look forward to having you back.

Nice condo

The condo was very nice. The water was crystal clear for the whole week we were there. I would recommend it to anyone!

Vacation getaway

This condo was fabulous! Very well tended to with everything needed to cook for our family. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the balcony. We saw dolphins almost every morning. The condo also had a great variety of beach accessories in the closet that was great for our kids on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed this condo and will stay here again!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The condo was perfect....the beach glorious....the water clear! Will definitely plan another stay here.

If you go, make sure to go to The Gulf restaurant, fabulous.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was the perfect size for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Kathy was very pleasant to work with prior to our stay with any questions I had. You are right on the beach, 6th floor and it's a small walk down the boardwalk and right on to the sand and ocean...loved it! You could leave all your stuff on the beach (ie: umbrella, chairs and boogie boards) and everyone respected each others stuff. This way you could go up, grab lunch and then go back down to the beach without having to lug everything each time. Kathy has a book that her guest can sign about their stay and it asks what was their favorite moments, places to eat, ect. and it was a great insight to where we should go, eat and hang out...very useful. Small, small addictive's would have been nice like, if the condo had a crock-pot, which Kathy said she's going to get in Sept when she's in town, if general spices were stocked in the condo (health code discourages it, but we've had them before at condo's we stayed), step stool for the short person (me) and beach towels. All those are small wants/desires to the overall stay at Kathy's condo. I would HIGHLY recommend this location if you are wanting to come to Orange Beach. (also, the washer and dryer work GREAT and came in very handy for my family)

Thanks for posting a review of your first visit to Orange Beach and we are pleased you had a great time. We also appreciate your suggestions. We have only recently had guests suggest a crock pot for the unit which we will be supplying next month during our stay. In the past we have supplied beach towels but they mysteriously :-) disappear so we could no longer guarantee they would be there upon arrival for the next guests. Thanks again for the suggestions and we hope you will return to our condo if you visit Orange Beach again in the future.

Fantastic Trip

We enjoyed our stay at Silver Beach. The condo was beautiful and Kathy was a joy to work with.
