We had a great time during our stay. The house was in fantastic shape and only a 1 minute walk to the beach access. Mike and Brenda were a pleasure to work with. We shortened our stay by one night because of hurricane Nate. This gave the owners time to get things in order and us time to avoid any chaos. We were not expecting it, but they refunded us the last night. I would definitely stay here again. Our dogs had as much fun as we did. A big thanks to Mike and Brenda for not being prejudice and allowing our large dog to use their home (and small one). Also, the house has everything you will need, along with all the beach equipment.

This was an excellent beach house. It was clean, nicely furnished, well maintained, generously equipped and thoughtfully provisioned. The neighbors were welcoming. We enoyed the house and had no problems or complaints. The property owners were readily accessible and easy to communicate with.

The Playful Pelican was the perfect house for us! It was very clean, decorated nicely and the air conditioner worked perfectly. It was a short walk down the street to the beach. The beach was dog friendly and our dachshund had a great time! The only people on the beach were other people in the neighborhood so it was not very crowded. Everyone we met was very friendly! It was a 15-20 min drive to Gulf Shores and about 30 min to Orange Beach but we loved coming back to Fort Morgan where it was peaceful and quiet at night. Mike and Brenda were great to work with! We highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back!
