Just spent the most relaxing and fun week at sandy bottoms beach house! The house is immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and extremely well appointed. My husband and I traveled with our 2 year old, and this area is very peaceful and family friendly. You can still experience all gulf shores has to offer without staying in the overcrowded strip. If you want a day away from the beach, the old fort was 10 minutes down the road and a must see! We cannot wait to come back again— I feel like I’ve found my happy place. Vickie was a great host, made the rental process painless from start to finish, and checked on us multiple times to make sure we were comfortable and had all we needed. Thank you Vickie!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Sandy Bottoms beach house. Every time we think this is the best beach trip ever.....then we go again. This trip was different than the other 2 in that it was a (grownups only) friends trip. The house is perfectly suited - each couple had their own room and plenty of common space as well. The beach is very private - don’t have to fight for your own space - ever. In the evenings we enjoyed cooking down below & hanging out where we could play corn hole & relax & visit. This might have been the best trip ever - but we will definitely be going back just to make sure!! Vickie is always very helpful and is full of information about the area. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!!

Sandy Bottoms was the perfect vacation spot for our trip with family and friends. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipt. The location was absolutely perfect - a quick walk to the beach with a great view of the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sunsets and utilizing the downstairs swing and chair when it was raining. We would absolutely return to Sandy Bottoms and look forward to planning another visit soon!

We had a great time at Sandy Bottoms. It's perfectly situated on some of the most beautiful white sand beaches I've seen. The area in front of Sandy Bottoms was relatively unoccupied except us and a couple of other families so social distancing was easy. Prepare to drive a ways to get groceries (we went to Rouses), but other than that, it was amazing. There are closer convenience type stores/restaurants which were actually pretty good. It is close to walking trails as well which were really enjoyable as well. Kitchen had everything we could ever need and more. You won't regret staying here.

We have been staying in the Morgantown neighborhood and it has become very crowded on the beach. It was really nice to be there without anyone else crowding us! House is nice and clean. My favorite place is under the house in the sitting area with the bench swing. Nice cool breeze made sitting down there and reading a joy. Grandchildren fully utilized the outdoor shower, they are 5 and 9.

The house was extremely comfortable and very well appointed. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need to cook, and the living space is nicely decorated and great for hanging out. The outdoor shower is fantastic, as is the entire outdoor area under the house. The owner is remarkable at providing information and following up on your stay. Highly recommend!

This was a most perfect vacation! Vickie made us feel right at home and was there to help if there were any problems. (There weren't any!) The bedrooms were just the right size for the kids and the adults. The porch was perfect for those lovely nights to enjoy the ocean breezes and the family. The kitchen had all the amenities of home and there was nothing we needed. The queen size bedroom was perfect for the grownups and the living was great for the get togethers of fun. The beach was VERY private and there was no need to social distance as the folks that were there were few and far between. So the perfect enviorment for beach fun. Thank you Vickie! We will definetly look forward to another vacation at your lovely home.
