You'll have awesome sunset views that only west end units can offer from our large dining area window and our west end balcony. Swim any season in our heated, gulf front indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. And we have the COOLEST kids' pool with zero-entry and fun fountains and sprays. Seawind also offers a large gulf front, state of the art fitness center, lounge area with large screen TV, and a sauna. Walk to over 7 restaurants, but if you choose to cook, our stainless steel and granite kitchen has everything you'll need. Our living room opens onto the balcony and has a 42 inch, flat screen HDTV w/ DVD player, lots of movies, and a queen sized sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has a king size bed w/ new mattress, walk-in closet,flat screen TV w/ DVD player and opens onto the balcony. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed w/ new mattress, TV, and connects to the 2nd bathroom. Our bunkroom gives you 3 bedrooms for the price of 2 with a full bottom/twin top bunk, TV w/ DVD player, kid-friendly movies, and toys. The balcony is furnished w/ a comfy armchair , a cushioned lounge, and a table and chairs where you can enjoy a 'meal w/ a view'. We have tried to make our condo really comfortable and to provide everything you'll need for a wonderful vacation. All our doors and our furniture arrangement will accommodate the width of a wheelchair and we are kid-friendly too. We would love to share our second home with you. The gentle sounds of the surf and the salty smell are so relaxing and remind me of happy times as a child spent at my grandparents' beach house which was almost on this very location!

What makes this condo unique
Over the past 50 years I have watched Gulf Shores grow from a small fishing village with a few 'Mom and Pop' establishments to a premier vacation destination. The great thing is that people here still treat you with warmth and friendliness like a welcome visitor.

Relaxing Getaway!

We enjoyed our relaxing getaway for the holiday. The condo was spacious enough for our family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked and located close to Walmart, Publix and Rouses. It was nice to be on a a lower level end unit. Great to sit on the balcony and watch the waves crash, or access the beach via the short boardwalk. Deana communicated well and offered lots of suggestions prior to our arrival. Would definitely stay again when returning to Gulf Shores.

Love this unit & the owner

The unit is in a great location, corner unit lower floor! It comes with everything you will need for a week's stay. Deana was wonderful to work with us on everything, from the Covid crisis to staying an earlier night. She's very understanding & cares about your family's stay & well being. My little grandson's first vacation and he loved the balcony view & the kiddie splash pool. Will definitely be staying at this unit in the future!!! Thanks so much!

We stayed for a week at this condo. The view of the beach from the balcony was amazing! The owner answered all questions and stayed in contact with us from arrival and even at the end of stay to ensure we were satisfied. Will definitely be staying again!

SUPER location, owner went above and beyond for my son

This past March, my son and 7 friends found out that the home they had rented through another site was a scam. They arrived in Gulf Shores after a 6 hour drive to find no home to stay in. It was a SUPER stressful situation and they were looking at a totally ruined spring break vacation. Luckily, they were pointed to Alabama Vacation Home Rentals who contacted this wonderful owner and he/she was willing to take a chance on renting to a 21 year old at the last minute. As the parent, I am INCREDIBLY grateful and my son and friends said it was a WONDERFUL home. They are very, very grateful to the owner.

If our family find ourselves in the area, we will certainly be contacting this owner to see if we can rent there ourselves. (We're from Maryland so we were too far to do anything to help as parents.) Thank you for truly saving a well deserved holiday for a group of college kids who had worked hard all semester in school, had saved money for many months to pay their share and were really looking forward to a nice break by the beach.
(At such late notice my son's group had to split their time between two rentals, this was one of them. They got both through Alabama Home Rentals and said both were wonderful.)

Best vacation

We really enjoyed ourselves at Seawind 409. The owner is a pleasure to deal with. We could actually sit at the table and watch the dolphins from the side window and the balcony. Very awesome! I highly recommend staying here!!

Fantastic Views, Great Location

This is our second consecutive year to stay in this condo. We keep coming back for several reasons: the owner is always a pleasure to deal with and helped make our stay very accommodating once again, we enjoy being on a lower floor, the balcony is very large because it's a corner unit, the condo is equipped with everything your actual home would have, the kiddie pool is great if you have small children, condo is right on the beach so the sand is a very short ride down the elevator, and the location is very convenient to many restaurants within walking distance so we didn't do much driving once we arrived at the condo. I highly recommend this condo!!!
