× About Gary Billingsley We have lived in the Gulf Shores/Foley area since 2001, moving here from Illinois. We own an oil and gas exploration company, with the main office located in Gulf Shores. Pat is also a retired R.N. Gary Billingsley purchased this house in 2002 Why Gary Billingsley chose Gulf Shores Pat's Parents vacationed in Gulf Shores for over 20 years and we vacationed here as much as we could. When the opportunity arose that we could move here. We did and absolutely love it. Our neighborhood is a hidden gem. Quiet friendly cul-de-sac but near the beach and entertainment. We have always had dogs and know how hard it can been to vacation with your fur babies. That is why we made our house pet friendly so our guests can enjoy their vacations without leaving behind part of the family. What makes this house unique This house is like living on a lake but walking distance to the beach. It is the best of both worlds. The house has some gorgeous leaded and stained glass windows for that extra touch. The main room is 2 stories with aloft overlooking it that gives the house an even more spacious feel. The bedrooms are quiet and private. So relaxing to sit on one of the 2 decks or patios overlooking the Little Lagoon or sit out on the dock and fish. Guestbook comments from the owner Thank you! We enjoyed our time. We had an amazing time and the place was perfect! It was nice to be off the main drag but within walking distance of the beach. Next time we come, we'll have to make it a longer stay. Aug 2007 1 of 7 ... continue reading
Wonderful place to stay. Very spacious plenty of room for all 10 and a half of us. Minutes away from everything to do. Store within walking distance. Everyone loved fishing and catching crabs off the dock in the back yard (specially the kids). Hot tub on the third floor deck was awesome to relax in and enjoy the view. Located in a quiet community with very nice people. Owners are very nice and quick to respond to any messages and fixed any small problems we had immediately. We had a great time!!
Thank you to the Billingsley's :)

The house was huge and clean. Loved how it's pet friendly ( the poochies loved it there too)
It was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. It was a super close walk to the beach and other lil small shops. The people who lived around the area were nice and really helpful too.

This Beachhouse was great! The children enjoyed the dark in the backyard off of the lagoon and caught tons of little fish so they were entertained for hours! It's very convenient to everything in goal shores. The house is spacious and there was plenty of room for all nine of us. There was a lighting issue in the kitchen and a couple of other issues that I made the owners aware of and they handled it very quickly! They were very friendly and nice to deal with. We will definitely plan to stay in this property again in the future.

This was my second stay at this waterfront home. It backs up to the lagoon where you can fish or just soak up the nice scenery. The house has plenty of space and is walking distance to the public beach. There is a nice convenience store at the end of the street but if you're buying for the week or longer, I recommend Rouse's Market off Gulf Shores Parkway. The homeowners are accommodating. I will stay here again with my family.
