Description
HeronHaven provides the best of two worlds - the quiet waters of the Lagoon and quick access to the Gulf shores. All appliances in the condo were installed in 2021 and all the furnishings in 2023. Everything is new and in perfect condition. Wireless internet is provided. Two large flat screen tv's are provided, lots of beautiful artwork decorate the walls. Every window and the deck front the Lagoon with beautiful sunsets. There is a private boat launch as well as parking for boats on site. Two fishing piers allow excellent fishing from shore and two large pools provide a great place to cool down, swim or just relax in the sun. A covered gazebo provides both picnic tables and multiple grilling stations. There is a storage area on ground level that is assigned to the condo and is open for use by guests. The dining table seats six and can expand to eight. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom includes two queen size beds. There is abundant closet space. A new full size washer and dryer is located just off the kitchen. Dishes, utensils, pots and pans and more are provided. The condo is located about three miles west of central Gulf Shores. It is distant enough that the traffic is light yet the restaurants, activities and businesses of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are readily accessible. The gulf beaches here reflect the distance from down town. While beaches near multiple high rises are full of people, here there is lots of space. Walk the beaches to the west and often there are very few people. It is wonderfully quiet and peaceful.

Additional Property Information
Sheets, bath linens and kitchen linens are provided but there is no maid service. Washer and dryer are provided in the unit. Bring your own beach towels.
A starter supply of toilet tissue, paper towels, garbage can liner, dishwasher liquid, etc. is provided to get you started but you will need to purchase additional supplies for the rest of your stay.
To reserve your stay a deposit of $100 is required. Full payment is due 60 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations more than 60 days will incur no penalty (deposit will be refunded). Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within the 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.

Policies
No rental to vacationing students or young singles unless accompanied by a parent. Singles must be 25 years of age or older. Parents must check in and occupy the condominium with their children during the entire rental period. Failure to do so will result in eviction of the unaccompanied youth and forfeiture of all payments. Any reservation made under false pretenses will result in the forfeiture of advance payment and the party will not be permitted to check in. No exceptions!
Additional Info
This property requires a 7 night minimum stay from May to mid-August. A minimum of 3 nights will be allowed other times of the year. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If rental is taken for less than 3 nights, the guest will be charged the 3 night minimum.

Suitability Details
Sea Oats is very welcoming to all but there are steps to every condo and there is no elevator. Our condo (A106) is located on the first floor there are two flights of 8 steps to enter the first floor. There is a railing for these steps. But wheelchair access, unfortunately is not available.
We do not have a crib or pack & play available but guests may bring their own.

About Darrel and Pat Robertson
The owners (Darrel & Pat Robertson) are a retired Presbyterian minister and K-12 vocal music teacher. Their main residence is on Mille Lacs Lake in north central Minnesota. They have spent the past four winters renting Sea Oats condos and have now made it their 2nd home during portions of the winters. They are parents to two children and grandparents to two granddaughters. Fishing, golf, swimming and basketball are among their recreational activities. They are also avid readers. They especially appreciate the Bodenheimer Rec Center and the local library.
