**********************************The condo building is still undergoing repairs of damages from hurricane Sally last September. We have experienced multiple delays because of labor and material shortages. Our condo is ready for guests but please be aware of a few things.
THE POOL MAY NOT BE OPEN DURING YOUR STAY. At this time we still do not have a date of when to expect the pool to be open.
South Winds is 2 separate building with 6 condos in each building. Our condo is in the South building and while most of the repairs are complete on our building there are still ongoing repairs on the North building. There may be some light cosmetic repairs left on our building. This should not have much of an impact on you but there is the possibility of additional traffic in the parking lot etc.****************************************
South Winds Unit 3 is in a low density condominium complex with only 12 units which means the pool is never too crowded.
You can use the fully equipped kitchen to have a great home cooked meal or if you prefer to eat out the options are fabulous within just a few blocks. The Hangout, DeSoto's, Gulf Shores Steamer, Picnic Beach or Mikee's to name a few. With choices like these within walking distance the hardest part is trying to decide which one to go to first. You could spend your entire vacation without ever needing to get in your car or call an Uber.
A smart TV in the living room, and cable on all 3 TVs and free WiFi keep you connected to the world if you aren't ready to completely unplug.
This roomy 1067 sq foot 2 bedroom condo sleeps 8 with a king size bed in one bedroom, 2 queen size beds in the other bedroom and a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
