Description
HeronHaven provides the best of two worlds - the quiet waters of the Lagoon and quick access to the Gulf shores. All appliances in the condo were installed in 2021 and all the furnishings in 2023. Everything is new and in perfect condition. Wireless internet is provided. Two large flat screen tv's are provided, lots of beautiful artwork decorate the walls. Every window and the deck front the Lagoon with beautiful sunsets. There is a private boat launch as well as parking for boats on site. Two fishing piers allow excellent fishing from shore and two large pools provide a great place to cool down, swim or just relax in the sun. A covered gazebo provides both picnic tables and multiple grilling stations. There is a storage area on ground level that is assigned to the condo and is open for use by guests. The dining table seats six and can expand to eight. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom includes two queen size beds. There is abundant closet space. A new full size washer and dryer is located just off the kitchen. Dishes, utensils, pots and pans and more are provided. The condo is located about three miles west of central Gulf Shores. It is distant enough that the traffic is light yet the restaurants, activities and businesses of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are readily accessible. The gulf beaches here reflect the distance from down town. While beaches near multiple high rises are full of people, here there is lots of space. Walk the beaches to the west and often there are very few people. It is wonderfully quiet and peaceful.

Sheets, bath linens and kitchen linens are provided but there is no maid service. Washer and dryer are provided in the unit. Bring your own beach towels.
A starter supply of toilet tissue, paper towels, garbage can liner, dishwasher liquid, etc. is provided to get you started but you will need to purchase additional supplies for the rest of your stay.
To reserve your stay a deposit of $100 is required. Full payment is due 60 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations more than 60 days will incur no penalty (deposit will be refunded). Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within the 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.

Policies
** SNOWBIRDS: You may book November and December at a monthly rate. Lower weekly costs for the last two weeks of August, all of September, October, April and May are available. Please email for more information through this site. We do not answer unknown calls but will call you upon receiving an email.
We do not have a crib or pack & play available but guests may bring their own. Pets under 40 lbs are welcome but please do not bring a pet that chronically barks if the owner is absent.

About Darrel and Pat Robertson
The owners (Darrel & Pat Robertson) are a retired Presbyterian minister and K-12 vocal music teacher. Their main residence is on Mille Lacs Lake in north central Minnesota. They have spent the past four winters renting Sea Oats condos and have now made it their 2nd home during portions of the winters. They are parents to two children and grandparents to two granddaughters. Fishing, golf, swimming and basketball are among their recreational activities. They are also avid readers. They especially appreciate the Bodenheimer Rec Center and the local library.

AWESOME!!
This is the perfect place to be at the beach for us. The condo is in a very calm, not-real-busy location. We just loved the fact that we could choose between going out back to fish off the pier, or walk across the road to the beach, which wasn't far. This condo is pet friendly, which is also good for us because we have a toy poodle. The condo was the cleanest condo we have ever stayed in!!! It had everything you could possibly need! Another thing that is very nice is that you park under the condo. You are out of the rain when unloading or loading. My better half did not like having an elevator, but it was only 1 floor!!!!! We needed the exercise, that way we could eat more delicious seafood around there. In all we just love this place, and already planning a trip back!!
