About Dee Dee Cooley
I was born in Nashville, Tennessee in a music business family and went to college at Auburn University in Alabama. After college I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where I currently live with my husband and three sons. We fell in love with Destin on our very first trip in 2001. The gorgeous white sandy beaches and emerald waters were the perfect place to relax and watch my boys play on the beach during our yearly vacation. We dreamed of one day owning our own vacation home and in 2008 we had the opportunity to make that dream a reality with a condo in the beautiful 30-A area. My family made many vacation memories here. I found I enjoyed renting the property out and ten years later, in 2018, I purchased Deja Blue, a townhouse at Prominence Resort across from the very popular Hub now known as The Big Chill. Then, in 2019 I bought a condo at Seagrove Highlands. I renovated it to provide my guests with clean, comfortable, luxurious surroundings. I've now ventured out into a new area on the Gulf Coast. My newest condo is in Gulf Shores, Alabama at Kiva Dunes, a premier golf and beach resort. I renovated this condo as well and it turned out beautifully! I strive to provide each guest with a beautiful, clean, well-stocked vacation home where they can relax and get away from it all and hopefully return and make their own vacation memories on the Gulf Coast.

Beyond Expectations
….and expectations were high.
Having been to Kiva Dunes once before, and only for golf, we were aware of the location and very much looking forward to a month long stay. Kiva Dunes golf was again the draw. We were also hoping for nicer than average February weather and some quality beach time. We ended up getting everything we hoped for but the highlight of our escape from the Minnesota cold was Dee Dee’s Sea La Vie condo.
From the moment we opened the door we felt at home. The hallway stretches toward a wall of floor to ceiling windows and deck overlooking the beautiful Kiva Dunes golf course landscape. The condo is a bright open concept and tastefully decorated in a coastal theme.
Furnishings are high quality. Seating is plentiful. The kitchen is fully accessorized with heavy duty pots and pans, glass mixing bowls, leftover storage containers, and cutting boards. Cooking utensils include everything you’d find at home. Knives are actually sharp and useful unlike most found at other rentals. There are plenty of plates, bowls, water, juice, wine glasses, and silverware.
Stainless appliances are spotless and the refrigerator is brand new! It was replaced while we were there. To give you an idea of the support you’ll get renting here we found a problem with the existing refrigerator upon our arrival. Dee Dee responded immediately and had a new refrigerator delivered the next day!
Beds are plush, bedding and towels are wonderful. Bathrooms are also newly renovated with tiled showers and a stand alone tub in the Master.
We could go on and on about our month long stay but suffice it to say we loved it so much we are already booked again for next year.

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed staying at Sea La Vie. Your unit was really nice, comfortable, and the location on property was convenient. We enjoyed the golf course and the Beach Club also. On a side note, we had fun seeing the gator and turtles from our balcony. Very cool.

Relaxing, PERFECT getaway!
We loved this unit SO much! We had never been to Kiva Dunes, but I can assure you it won't be the last time we stay there. We loved the property overall- the beach club pool was amazing! It was perfect for a baby... easy access to a bathroom, fountains to splash in, food & drink service, etc. All of the employees working at the pool were so friendly and helpful. The unit was great as well! We loved all of the natural light from the windows. The balcony is the perfect place to start your morning or even end the night with the peace and quiet of Kiva Dunes. We also loved watching the alligator that seems to live in the pond below. It made for some fun entertainment! All of the updates in the condo are absolutely gorgeous! The closet in the master bedroom was perfect for our baby's pack n play. She basically had her own little bedroom inside of ours. Everything was amazing about this trip though! Wonderful Stay
My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were beautiful and newly redone. The host was extremely nice and was quick to answer any questions we had. Kiva Dunes is a wonderful place to visit! We will definitely visit again!

Beach & Golf Anniversary
First of all I would like to say this Condo has been totally renovated and looks amazing. The back porch overlooks hole 18, Great View while enjoying some wine. The Kiva Beach Club was awesome with a short walk to enjoy wait service while we enjoyed the pool and walks on the Beach. Then the chance to play some golf on a well manicured course, highly recommend the stay at this condo, We will be back.
