Jellyfish Twist is located on the quiet peninsula of Fort Morgan, 17 miles from Gulf Shores. The private, dog-friendly beaches, lack of crowds, and slower pace of life make this property the perfect site for your beach getaway. We cater to girls' trips, professionals' sabbaticals. and fishermens' holidays.
In doing our part to be eco-friendly, we installed wildlife-friendly lighting to assist the turtle babies during hatching season. We supply detergent sheets and wool dryer balls for laundry and a Brita filter for water. A recycle bin is available as well. It’s a small step, but these actions help our environment.
I offer more than just a place to stay. As a local gal, I can suggest places to go and things to do in the area. The beach is our main attraction, but we have much more to experience. The digital guestbook provides much of the information you need in one place.
I am fully invested in my property and manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and cleaning. I go well beyond standard with hotel quality bed linens, two pillows per guests, hotel quality bath towels, high quality paper products, and a fully equipped kitchen. By staying in the property regularly, I can identified nuances that improve the quality of the house and make your stay that much better.

Payments are processed through Stripe (online payment service,) so your finances are safe and secure. The only thing left to do is hit the BOOK button and prepare to experience hospitality as warm as the summer sunshine.

While visiting Gulf Shores with my two Golden Retrievers in the 90s, I realized there were few pet-friendly lodgings. When I purchased my first condo on West Beach in 2003, I vowed to provide a clean, comfortable room that welcomes pets as well as people. We have accommodated many satisfied guests since our beginning, and now we have our newest addition to our properties: Jellyfish Twist! As your host, my goal is hospitality and happy guests. After all, it's not a vacation rental. It's home.

Jellyfish Twist a great place to stay for a few days or a month
Jellyfish Twist has it all, starting with a beautiful view of the dunes and the Gulf. There is space around the home/cottage. It is not crowded in like many of the area locations. Laurel has recently added a cargo lift that helps moving in. The entry is keyless so don't have to carry your key on the beach. There is an electronic information board inside that always has the time and temperature plus important information about Jellyfish Twist and reminders to assist in your stay.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a new large refrigerator plus a beverage frig that is a very nice touch. Very comfortable for 2 people with a master bedroom with full bath plus half bath with laundry on the main floor. Or 6 people with 2 additional bedrooms and another full bathroom upstairs.

Wonderful, Relaxing Vacation
We had such a wonderful, relaxing vacation at Laurel’s home. Not to mention Laurel being an amazing host. She answered all my questions from inquiring about her home & during our entire stay.
The location of her home is perfect for enjoying a beach vacation. The walk to the beach is right across the street. Even during a busy 4th of July week we felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Never crowded at all.
The photos of Laurel’s home don’t do it justice. You will not be disappointed booking here. I highly recommend!

Great Vacation
This was a wonderful stay. Literally right on the beach and stunning views of the ocean. The house was spotless and very clean and well-stocked for any cooking needs. It is a very private beach area, away from the city which is what we wanted. A big plus was that our dogs could come with us. Our entire family had a wonderful time. Laurel was always very responsive and a great host, check-in and check-out super easy. Highly recommend staying here, it was an oasis.

Relaxing Vacation!
Well updated home, many amenities for cooking. Loved the drink fridge, very handy. Great location to have coffee on the porch and see the ocean across the street. Very relaxing vacation!!

Just What I Needed
Truly there are not enough words to say. I am NEVER comfortable anywhere but home. The place was hands down the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed . Laurel was an incredible host. I extended our stay. Her place was exactly what my soul needed. Quiet town, nice private beach, and I loved that I was able to bring my dog. She has a virtual concierge. That was pretty nice.
