Why choose to vacation in the Fort Morgan, Alabama area? Located on the west end of Pleasure Island’s peninsula, Fort Morgan offers the same beautiful white sand beaches found within the city limits of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach but without the crowds. The absence of high-rise condos means you can enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from almost anywhere in the area. The beaches in Fort Morgan are pet friendly, and pet owners can bring along “man’s best friend” if your stay will be 30 consecutive days or more with prior owner approval. The law requires pets be on a leash. The Marina in Fort Morgan offers charter fishing and dolphin cruises, and the Marina store has beach items and necessities to purchase that you may have forgotten to bring along. Several great restaurants offer fresh seafood, burgers, pizza, as well as Mexican fare. If you feel like heading into the city, Gulf Shores is just a 15-20 minute drive away... Get away from the crowds and the noise of the city and enjoy relaxing and laid back Fort Morgan.

Full kitchen and living room with large sofa. Contains three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom features a king bed with en-suite bathroom. The king bed in the master bedroom is a pillow-top mattress. The second bedroom features a king bed with a large walk-in closet and an adjacent full bathroom. The king bed in the second bedroom is a comfortable memory foam mattress. The third bedroom is a bunk room with a full size bed on top of a full size bed with a single size trundle pullout. The bunk beds are memory foam and the two full size bunks comfortably accommodate most adults. The pull-out trundle in the bunk room is also a memory foam mattress, but is only recommended for children.

The living room and each bedroom is equipped with a Roku smart tv.

Located off Fort Morgan road, we love this property because it feels like it’s own little ocean village that’s off the beaten path where you can get away from it all. It’s roughly a two minute walk to the beach or you can drive about a block and park your vehicle right beside the beach access. You are also right across the road from Tacky Jack’s Restaurant and just down the road from Beach Bum’s Coffee & Deli, The Butcher’s Block butcher shop, and Fresh Seafood Market. So while your here, you can eat local, drink local, and be local!

Guests may get around by car or rent bicycles to travel short distances around the property. Parking at the property is $35/vehicle, but as your host we cover this cost so that parking is free to each guest. Also, the beach is a two minute walk from the pool area, but there is also parking by the boardwalk so you can drop off heavier items like coolers and beach chairs.

Guests from Mississippi or Louisiana might find it easy to travel to the property by ferry boat from Mobile: https://mobilebayferry.com/schedule/. Rooftop observation deck is currently undergoing upgrades and will not be accessible for guests until mid April.

This beautiful property is located toward the end of Fort Morgan Road, so you will really be able to getaway from it all! When you turn off Gulf Shores Parkway onto Fort Morgan Road, you'll see a Rouses Supermarket on your right. You might consider grabbing some groceries on your way in so you can get to relaxing on the beach sooner and won't have to make an extra trip back to the grocery store.
