No smoking, No animals. Home is one side of a duplex - completely private & separate from other side. Gated community with pools and hot tub, along with beach access (NOT a public beach). Beautifully appointed home with gorgeous views from 2 levels of decking. 4 smart TVs with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Peacock, Amazon Prime video, and Mediacom Xtream 400gbps internet (NO CABLE TV). Fully stocked kitchen (cabinet of spices, cooking oil) with regular drip coffee pot & a Keurig (filters, ground coffee, powder creamer & sugar typically available, bring your own KCups, though). Large sectional sofa, ottoman & recliner with 55” TV, plus DVD player. Dining room seats up to 7, bar has 4 stools. Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own smart TV. Master Bedroom has king, downstairs master has queen, Children’s Bedroom has full bunk on bottom, single on top, plus a twin bed. Dressers in each room. Bathroom for each bedroom, with tub/shower in children’s bath…walk-in showers in other two. Dedicated workspace/desk in living room. Electric fireplace for cool months. Large windows and lots of light coming in. Room darkening blinds in bedrooms. Security cameras in garage and at entry help us keep things safe & secure. Deck box under house has beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards, beach mat, etc. Charcoal grill under house. Can rent balloon wheeled beach buggy for extra $50. This duplex is in The Dunes Community near mile marker 2 on Fort Morgan Rd (SR-180). It is a gated community and a code will be required to enter. Even though this is one side of a duplex, it is very spacious (2200 sq ft) and it is completely private, separate from the other side. There are no interior doors linking the units. They have their own private decks, entries and parking areas.

MUST BE 25+ (NO PARENTS RENTING FOR UNATTENDED KIDS! Renter that signs the rental agreement must be present for the duration of the stay.)
We have multiple exterior SECURITY CAMERAS that are used to verify rules are being followed.
We also supply 8 beach towels in a beach bag in the game closet (main entryway) as well as detergent in the laundry closet. If you decide to use our beach towels, you agree to shake the sand out outside, then wash and dry them on medium, and return to the beach bag in the game closet the night before you checkout. Our cleaner doesn't have the necessary time to do another load of laundry. If you use our charcoal grill, you are required to clean out the ashes & to clean & return the grill tools.

Cancellations made from 30-15 days of check-in date will receive 50% refund. Any cancellations within 14 days of check-in receive no refund.
HURRICANES: Refunds are not given unless there is a state/government mandated evacuation. There are no refunds for days actually used, nor for days booked that are outside of the official evacuation order. The renter is solely responsible for their decision and safety.
Our home is not childproof. It is not best for small, adventurous children, or parents who do not attend their small children well.

We have put a lot of time, effort & money into creating a relaxing, beautiful, special place at the beach and we expect all renters to treat our home with the utmost respect and care.

Our day was great! The view was amazing and very relaxing. We had adults, and children ages 12-1. We were all comfortable! The kitchen was stopped well. Probably the best stopped Kitchen I have had out of a vacation vacation rental. Jean was a great communicator. Thank you!

The Lilly Pad was Perfect!
There were eight of us that stayed from a Saturday to a Saturday. For adults and children 12, 16, 18 and 19. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. It was a short walk to the beach, but we elected to rent a golf cart and it was a fab idea. It was great for shuttling beach equipment and people at various times throughout the day. The home was very clean, the kitchen was stocked with spices and kitchen ware. The closet of games and beach towels was very handy. In addition to the beach box filled with goodies. The beds were very comfortable. The community was also nice and quiet and beach was not heavily populated. Fort Morgan is a great place to stay if you want to spend most of your time at the beach house. We did go into Gulf Shores, a few nights to eat, and a few days of shopping, but the majority of the time was spent at the house, cooking or eating sandwiches on the beach. Would for sure recommend this property as the owners were great to communicate with.

Great Location
Great location, easy access to pool and beach. Owner communicates well before check in with lots of info about local things to do and places to eat with reviews of those. Clean, large space. Only complaint would be no place to store food and cabinets due to so many extra kitchen supplies, but it was nice to be well. Stopped so hard to complain! Owner was responsive when we arrived and had random questions.

Very nice beach house
We really enjoyed our stay! Very spacious, well-maintained, appointed and decorated unit. No issues checking in or out, host was very thoughtful and responsive. It's a very quiet neighborhood and there's a lot of open space between the first and second to your houses. The pools are close by as well and well-maintained.

House Close to Beach
Our group included four adults, one teen and a baby. House was adequately stocked with everything needed in kitchen and towels, etc. Close to beach and pool, although the pool was freezing, even though it was 80° for the week. Can rent tents and chairs at beach, or the house has umbrellas, chairs, and beach toys.

The prefect place for two small families
Jean made sure we had an amazing time with our stay at The Lilly Pad. Between the two families, we had four kids all under the age of four, and it was still an amazing time. The only bad thing were flies at the beach, but, Jean told us ahead of time about that. We would completely recommend this place to anyone and hope we can come back in the future

Quiet beach neighborhood, beautiful home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fort Morgan. The owner was very kind, and everything was provided that you could possibly need except clothes, food, and personal items, of course. If you are looking for constant, upbeat, entertainment, this place is not for you, but if you were looking for a clean, quiet place to enjoy a vacation with your family at the beach, this is it!
