Our condo faces the ocean and sits back about 200 yards from the beach. Newly updated offering comfortable, upscale, tropical decor, all the amenities of home, fabulous views of ocean and bay,a peaceful less crowded beach, affordable rates!
We include one car registration for FREE with the rental. Additional car registrations available for a fee.
Our beach retreat is a second home to us, which we enjoy sharing with our guests. We have fashioned our retreat to accommodate vacationers who wish to feel as if they are guests in someone's home and desire to care for it as such.
To enhance your stay, we provide many extra amenities and supplies for your use as well as upscale linens. Bed Rooms include 1 King, 1 Queen and 2 Twins to accommodate 6 rental guests.

Why we chose The Dunes:
We love the peaceful surroundings and less crowded beach as well as the sweeping ocean and beach views from our 2 balconies. It is a treat to watch ships sail from the Port of Mobile.
Our young grandchildren especially love the freedom of movement on this less crowded beach and surrounding area and cherish the short walks along the beach to the uninhabited Fort Morgan property to collect those precious seashells.
This is not just a rental property. It is special to us and our second home. We have furnished, equipped and decorated it for that purpose and choose to share it with guests who are committed to caring for it during their stay.

Wonderful Condo
We stayed at Dunes Beach Retreat the month of February, 2023. The condo is nicely furnished with a well stocked kitchen and all the extras were great. Wonderful views. We did have some construction going on during our stay but Diane told us about it ahead of time. Diane communicates very well and quickly answered any questions that we had. We very much appreciated that Diane and Tom gave us their opportunity to stay in their condo.

So many Amenities and a Beautiful view
We enjoyed our stay so much. We love Fort Morgan for the ocean view, the fishing and the beach. The condo was amazing- nicely furnished, a well supplied kitchen and the extras provided by Dianne were such a nice touch! We would love to stay again!

2nd time as good as the first
We just finished a week at the Dunes. We booked the 2nd visit because we liked the first one so much. We went to the beach, the pool and the hot tub every day. Our grandson had a blast at the Dunes. We rode the ferry, visited the shops in Gulf Shores ate at Lulu's and Mo's BBQ. Both Gluten Free places - good food great service. The condo has all the utensils,pots,pans and tableware you need. Appliances top notch. Washer\dryer good to have, beds were comfy and I want that cabinet in the entry way when they redecorate. Beach themed decor and a great view of the beach and the bay. We watched many ships come and go in Mobile Bay from the two balconies. Sunsets were beautiful from beach and the those balconies. We would visit again without hesitation. Thanks for sharing your beach home with us again.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
Our first snobird getaway from Jan thru Feb 2022 has been absolutely fantastic.
It is the nicest beach home we have stayed in gulf shores region last 20 years.
This is truly a 'Dune Resort' which has every accommodation you will need for one week or three months to enjoy this beautiful beach home. It is so clean and comfortable
We had a great location to watch the dolphins from balcony or relax on the beach.
It was a 'WOW' experience.

Family Vacation
Our family of 5 very much enjoyed our stay! The unit was just as described and Dianne was a WONDERFUL host. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The beach was secluded and the whole condo building was never crowded. We met very nice neighbors who live there and the beach attendant Phillip was extremely friendly and very helpful. Amazing Stay
This condo was equipped with everything you would ever need. Beautifully decorated and a beautiful view. It is truly a "BEACH" vacation even though you could be in Gulf Shores within 20 minutes. Tacky Jacks was our go to for supper and a pizza from Sassy Bass. The ride to Dauphin Island on the ferry is about a mile away. Dianne is an amazing host and is there for you if needed. We will definitely be back.

Spring break
My family stayed here for spring break this year , and we were completely happy with this amazing condo. From the minute we got there we were 100 % happy and content with our choice . The area was amazing, the view was fantastic, and there wasn't one single thing we needed that wasn't available . The layout of the condo was great, the kitchen was perfect. We will definitely be back to enjoy this peaceful part of the beach .

Lovely Condo
This is a lovely condo! Everything is so clean & nice. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen. That is especially helpful for me since I have to cook everything I eat due to my food sensitivities. The beds are comfortable. The furniture is placed in a way that really makes the unit feel extra large & roomy.
The amount of supplies is incredible. We’ve rented vacation homes throughout the country & have never seen this much generosity with supplies. The location of the condo is terrific. The views are stunning. It is a wonderful place to walk as well. Quiet & peaceful despite the fact that construction is ongoing. We like that you also have some pictures of your family in the condo. It’s nice to see the owners ???? — really says “this is a home”.

Perfect location for our family!
This is our second visit to this wonderful condo with our family, and we simply love it! Our party includes my husband and I, my 20 something son, and my thirtysomething daughter, her husband, and their young son. We all enjoy the more quiet section of beach here at Fort Morgan! You can literally walk in one direction, and never see a single soul. We enjoy the local restaurants on Fort Morgan, and only drove back into Gulf Shores twice during our week’s stay. And this condo is simply amazing! We’ve never stayed in a nicer unit than this! Everything in the unit is top notch, clean, well organized, and well-equipped. It is spacious, and has plenty of room for adults and children as well. The views from the unit are amazing! One evening, we literally watched a carnival cruise ship in Mobile Bay make its way out into the ocean! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful unit with our families!
