We include one car registration for FREE with the rental. Additional car registrations available for a fee.

Our beach retreat is a second home to us, which we enjoy sharing with our guests. We have fashioned our retreat to accommodate vacationers who wish to feel as if they are guests in someone's home and desire to care for it as such.

To enhance your stay, we provide many extra amenities and supplies for your use as well as upscale linens. Bed Rooms include 1 King, 1 Queen and 2 Twins to accommodate 6 rental guests.

Why we chose The Dunes:
We love the peaceful surroundings and less crowded beach as well as the sweeping ocean and beach views from our 2 balconies. It is a treat to watch ships sail from the Port of Mobile.
Our young grandchildren especially love the freedom of movement on this less crowded beach and surrounding area and cherish the short walks along the beach to the uninhabited Fort Morgan property to collect those precious seashells.
This is not just a rental property. It is special to us and our second home. We have furnished, equipped and decorated it for that purpose and choose to share it with guests who are committed to caring for it during their stay.

Family Vacation

Our family of 5 very much enjoyed our stay! The unit was just as described and Dianne was a WONDERFUL host. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The beach was secluded and the whole condo building was never crowded. We met very nice neighbors who live there and the beach attendant Phillip was extremely friendly and very helpful. Amazing Stay

This condo was equipped with everything you would ever need. Beautifully decorated and a beautiful view. It is truly a "BEACH" vacation even though you could be in Gulf Shores within 20 minutes. Tacky Jacks was our go to for supper and a pizza from Sassy Bass. The ride to Dauphin Island on the ferry is about a mile away. Dianne is an amazing host and is there for you if needed. We will definitely be back.

Spring break

My family stayed here for spring break this year , and we were completely happy with this amazing condo. From the minute we got there we were 100 % happy and content with our choice . The area was amazing, the view was fantastic, and there wasn't one single thing we needed that wasn't available . The layout of the condo was great, the kitchen was perfect. We will definitely be back to enjoy this peaceful part of the beach .

Lovely Condo

This is a lovely condo! Everything is so clean & nice. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen. That is especially helpful for me since I have to cook everything I eat due to my food sensitivities. The beds are comfortable. The furniture is placed in a way that really makes the unit feel extra large & roomy.

The amount of supplies is incredible. We’ve rented vacation homes throughout the country & have never seen this much generosity with supplies. The location of the condo is terrific. The views are stunning. It is a wonderful place to walk as well. Quiet & peaceful despite the fact that construction is ongoing. We like that you also have some pictures of your family in the condo. It’s nice to see the owners ???? — really says “this is a home”.

Perfect location for our family!

This is our second visit to this wonderful condo with our family, and we simply love it! Our party includes my husband and I, my 20 something son, and my thirtysomething daughter, her husband, and their young son. We all enjoy the more quiet section of beach here at Fort Morgan! You can literally walk in one direction, and never see a single soul. We enjoy the local restaurants on Fort Morgan, and only drove back into Gulf Shores twice during our week’s stay. And this condo is simply amazing! We’ve never stayed in a nicer unit than this! Everything in the unit is top notch, clean, well organized, and well-equipped. It is spacious, and has plenty of room for adults and children as well. The views from the unit are amazing! One evening, we literally watched a carnival cruise ship in Mobile Bay make its way out into the ocean! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful unit with our families!

Annual girls beach retreat!

I absolutely cannot day enough about what a pleasure it is to stay at your place Diane. The accommodations are beautiful and so comfortable and clean. I love, love, love to cook in your kitchen. Everything is at your fingertips, available when and where needed, and very clean! There is plenty of space for our group and plenty of entertainment options as well. Great place! Very quiet and family friendly.

I have stayed here for the past four years with three of my high school girlfriends. It’s become a tradition. This condo is perfect! It’s spacious, very clean and has all the amenities you would need. The owners are great to leave the little extras that you would need on your trip. The beach is less crowded, so we definitely enjoy our time out by the water. We look fir ward to staying here again next year.

A Wonderful Family Vacation.. An amazing Owner...

My husband and I had a wonderful family vacation with our 8 year old and 1 year old along with his parents. We have always stayed in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach so this was our first time being in Fort Morgan. I can honestly say that we fell completely in love with it. Mrs. Dianne is amazing to work with I could not of asked for a better person to rent from. She answered so many of my questions and provided so much information to us. We communicated via email and even talked the phone as well. When we were down Barry was actually blowing ashore and she took time out of her day to call to make sure that we knew what was going on and emailed me to make sure that we were aware that there were double red flags. What other owner do you know would do that? The condo is amazing it really truly is a second home. It was definitely enough space for all six of us. They provide things that you don't even think about bringing. We truly enjoyed ourselves and we didn't want to leave. We can't wait to come back. We hope to book this condo again in the future. Thank you again for a wonderful vacation and a lifetime of memories!

Enjoyed our Stay!

Bright, roomy, and location, location, location! We liked being out of the hustle/bustle of tourist crowds. But close enough for a short drive to town for shopping or dining out. Slept in late, sat out on either balcony most all of every morning for breakfast. . Listening to the ocean, watching the waves and relaxing. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you could want - major brand name utensils and appliances. The condo was very clean! The furnishings comfortable and we really liked the artwork and beach decorations. I want a dresser just like the one in the entry. Easy walk to beach for sunrise and sunsets. 2 pools and hot tubs, mini gym for use.
We liked staying here, would return without hesitation. Friendly neighbors/guests. Good parking. Easy access to ferry, the drive to Gulf shores, about 20 miles. Good bike lane on highway. Tacky Jacks good for burgers and right across street. Imagine yourself sitting on the balcony, watching sunset and sharing great dinner of locally caught fish. This is the place!
