Plantation Palms # 6108 is located in the family-friendly Gulf Shores Plantation resort. Sleep 6 in this 1 bedroom condo featuring a king size bed, 2 twin hall bunks and a queen sleeper sofa.
This ground-floor condo allows you to walk directly from your private patio down the boardwalk onto the beautiful white sands of the beach. The convenience of never having to wait for an elevator can not be beat! Guests with young children often tell us how much they enjoy relaxing on the patio while the kids enjoy playing in the grassy courtyard area. Directly in front of the unit are 2 pools, a kiddie pool, a hot tub, a putting green and a tennis court (and, of course, the beautiful beach ... you have a view of the ocean from the unit!). Other free resort amenities throughout the landscaped grounds include multiple outdoor pools, a "kiddie" pool with separate secure fencing, the indoor heated salt water pool, outdoor and indoor hot tubs, a sand volleyball court, an exercise room, a putting green, and tennis/pickleball courts.
The storage cabinet on the patio has an assortment of beach toys and supplies for guest use. Repeat guests tell us their kids head straight there to check out their toy choices ... guests often "donate" beach supplies that they are finished with so the selection changes from trip to trip!
If you decide to take a break from your fun in the sun, there are games and puzzles in the condo to enjoy.
The on-site restaurant, Sassy Bass Island Grill, is located in the Plantation Dunes building next door.
Seasonal beach chair and umbrella rentals are available right at the end of the boardwalk and can be coordinated directly with the beach attendant.
Outdoor charcoal grills and picnic tables are conveniently located in the courtyard area. (Personal grills are not allowed on the property.)
The resort provides 24/7 on-site security. All visitors stop at the guard station upon entering the property. You will feel secure in this gated family-friendly community. There is ample parking directly in front of the building and this ground-floor unit allows you to park your car and walk right in your door ... no waiting for elevators!
The fully equipped updated kitchen features granite counter-tops and stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher. You can even charge your devices with the USB ports in the bar outlet. The kitchen is fully equipped, with seating for dining either inside or outside on the patio. Guests often tell us that they rarely leave the property once they check in.
There is a washer and dryer right in the condo.
Plantation Palms is located on the Fort Morgan peninsula, about 20 minutes from the more central area of Gulf Shores and all that it has to offer. The Fort Morgan area offers a quiet, less crowded atmosphere. The award-winning Kiva Dunes Golf Course is adjacent to the property. The Fort Morgan historic site, the Fort Morgan Marina, kayak launch access, fishing, walking and bike trails are all located just outside the gates in Fort Morgan. In addition to the on-site restaurant, there are other dining choices just west and just east on Fort Morgan Road. A list of area restaurants with locations is included in the Frequently Asked Questions, which are sent to each guest.
Per HOA guidelines, registration fee of $35 per vehicle must be purchased prior to being issued a parking pass. Registration fees are purchased online through Square and instructions are provided with check-in instructions.
