This house was amazing! When you walk in the door if had the smell of the beach - the house was very clean - beautiful decor- everything you need to have a wonderful vacation! The view is breathtaking - I will be back for sure! A MUST for a bucket list!❤️

Our family has been going to this beach house for years! It feels like our home away from home. It has been perfect for our needs! We love that it is directly on the beach with a view of the ocean and just a short walk down the boardwalk to the beach. It's also great for a family with kids. I would recommend this to a friend or relative!

This summer marked our 7th year staying at Almost Heaven, the name truly fits. The layout of the house fits our needs perfectly, two bedrooms and a full bath on one side of the house and two on the other side with a full bath. There is a fully stocked kitchen and if by chance you have a baby, there are highchairs and pack and plays. I personal favorite of the house is the deck. You can sit there and marvel at God's masterpiece. In just a few steps you are on the beach and ready for your days activities. Should you have more than one care, no problem,as there is plenty of ample parking space under the house. If you are looking for a olace to chill and let the stress roll away, Almost Heaven is that place. Missy has always been so kind and helpful if we needed anything. For my family it is a home away from home.

This was our first visit to the gulf and are very glad we did our research and found this amazing home in Fort Morgan. The home had ample cooking supplies and more than enough table service for the 6 of us(3 adults, a 15yr old, 10yr old, and a 3yr old). The beds were super comfortable, but we all found ourselves up at sunrise everyday and on the deck right away.
Everything was as described in the listing. The home was very clean and well kept with updated appliances. Missy was awesome to work with! This being our first trip to the gulf and first time renting a home, we had a TON of questions and Missy would more than happy to answer them all.
I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for beautiful white sand beachs, clear water, and solidarity. There was only one high rise condo in the area, but the beach directly in front of the house was all ours!
We saw all sorts of wildlife! Rays, Jellyfish, Dolphins, Turtles and Crabs in the water; and Cranes, Pelicans, and Seagulls on the beach. We visited the Fort Morgan Historical Site just down the road and had a good time. We also drove to Pensacola and visited the Pensacola Lighthouse, and on Missy's recommendation, the National Naval Aviation Museum. Our entire family was in awe of all the displays there.
We would also recommend the Sassy Bass restaurant just down the road from the house. We had fantastic service and an even better meal!
There is so much to do in the area, but we only spent 2 of the 5 days we were there out doing things. There were ample toys under the house for the sand and water. Inside, TON's of board games and puzzles kept us all laughing and entertained in the evenings.
If you want to do the "touristy" things, go earlier in the season as the museum at Ft Morgan was closed, and a few exhibits at the Naval museum and lighthouse were being remodeled/repaired as tourist season was over.

Each year my three sisters and I take a "sister vacation" to reconnect and shop til we drop. The selling point for us about Almost Heaven, was there were four bedrooms . Jackpot!! First impression was that it was as lovely as the picture. When inside, the first thing you notice is the view to the beach. WOW! It has a large open deck and you just want to stand there forever enjoying the sights and sounds of God's wonderful grace and beauty. Inside the "home" is very clean and the decor is very tasteful and cozy. It had a split floor plan with a bathroom on each side that accommodated us very well. We experienced a little of Tropical Storm Patricia during our stay, however we felt secure in this tight little beach house despite a little light shaking due to the wind. Great place and had a great time with my sister's. Did I mention clean? Would recommend it to anyone who needs a quiet respite from the world and to use this time to reconnect with God's amazing sunrise and sunset. Our thanks to the Tyler's. It was fun!

Many times you have thought about or planned an exciting trip to the beach. Allow me to introduce you to a place in the Gulf Region that will change your interest and mind and set your vision to make your next trip to a place which is called Almost Heaven. A beach house that is right on the beach, private without interference from outside traffic and people. Just a short walk in the white sand and you will feel the cooling water of the ocean. Just imagine sitting on the veranda on the back of the house and fell the gentle breath and hear the romantic sound of the waves touching the shore. Watching the sun slowly disappear on the horizon. A place of peace and rest, away from all the stress of business and life. A home that sleeps ten people and has all the amenities you need and ask for to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Well, this is the place we call Almost Heaven. My wife and I had the opportunity to stay there for several days, what a pleasant and unforgettable week in the sun.

Beautiful ocean front beach home! Private, spacious and with all the comforts of home. We had an amazing week of relaxation and fun at this rental home. The owner was excellent to work with and truly wants you to enjoy your stay. The home is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We would absolutely rent this home again!

Spending a week at Almost Heaven was truly a vacation in Paradise. This beach house is equipped with all the amenities of home for your comfort and enjoyment. The house was warm, roomy, and inviting with its beach decor, and gave a feeling of being "on the beach" even from inside. The wide deck overlooking the gulf was a perfect place to enjoy the sunrise or sunset, spend time with friends, or just relax with a good book. The comfort of the King-size bed and the sounds of the ocean waves lulled me into the best sleep I've had in months.
We were close enough to town to enjoy some great shopping and great restaurants.
