Great home and relaxing location

The house is exactly like the pictures. Having the golf cart made beach trips fun and easy with kids and gear. The house is located outside of Gulf Shores, which means it's very peaceful, but it if you need to go to the store, popular restaurants, etc. it's at least a 20 minute drive. There is a small store 5 minutes away with beach essentials. The first few days of our trip we dealt with gnats that made being outside around the house unpleasant. The gnats were not an issue at the beach, but made using the pools, grill, and porch impossible. The latter portion of the trip the weather turned colder and the gnats were not an issue. The house is very well stocked with spices, dishes, pots and pans. Towels are plentiful. The house also has beach toys, chairs, and an umbrella that made the beach even better. The house has a lot of board games we enjoyed playing.

Very comfortable accommodations

Our group (four retirees) enjoyed our two week stay at Pelican Landing. Access to the beach was convenient with use of the golf cart. The owner’s three ring binder with details was helpful for finding restaurants, operating the TV, golf cart etc. Loved the king size beds. Bath towels were plentiful and luxurious. Loved having the two master bedrooms with en-suite baths. Fully stocked kitchen, just bring your own groceries. Any questions or concerns we had, Leah was very responsive. Highly recommend.

vVery nice!

The cottage was very nice. It was decorated tastefully and very clean. We also has everything we needed to feel like home in the cottage. The owner stayed in touch and answered any question quickly. We will definitely stay there again!

Delightful!

Fabulous, beautiful, well equipped cottage. Larry and Sandra are gracious owners. I do recommend the golf cart rental for trip to the beach. Great local restaurants.

A true escape!

My family & I really enjoyed our little escape to this cottage right before the busy season of life starting back up! The layout is perfect. The rooms are spacious & living room / kitchen area was a nice open concept which is great for hanging out during vacation. The screened in porch is a wonderful bonus! Our littles LOVED it. They were protected from the bugs & thought they were so grown up because they could go out there & watch TV & be "big" kids & it allowed us adults to watch something on TV that wasn't cartoons in the living room. I have never stayed somewhere that had so many towels! That really impressed me. I didn't have to constantly wash towels or be crazy mom running around behind kiddos hanging them up after showers to preserve them. The checkout process was a breeze. The easiest one I have ever experienced in all of my vacationing. The beach was very close & the golf cart made it a fun adventure to get there. The pool was a very short walk & never crowded. The community was nice & quite the entire time we were there. I highly recommend this for families or couples. It is a perfect mix for all & very well stocked.

Comfortable, beautiful and great location

Beautiful and comfortable, well stocked kitchen, spacious bedrooms, screened in side porch that really kept the bugs out and quiet location. Will book again.

Wonderful stay!

The property was wonderful. It was clean and had everything we could want. Close to the beach and had 2 swimming pools. Our visit was wonderful.

Beautiful house, great amenities

We had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandra’s beautiful cottage. High end finishes and decorated very well. The cottage was filled with everything you need for your stay. Just bring food. 2 large king bedrooms and the 3rd bedroom has a great bunk bed for multiple kids. We highly recommend paying the extra for the golf cart. Dedicated path for a 3 minute ride to the beach. The cottage also includes all you need for the beach. Sand toys, boogie boards, 4 beach chairs, and an umbrella. The complex has 2 great pools, 1 being zero entry and they’re open until 10:30 which was great for evening swims after a day at the beach. We look forward to staying here again, all pros and zero cons with the cottage!
