We have 2 kids in college and one in high school and this was the perfect getaway for our family of 5! We enjoyed the closeness of the beach and the quiet of the house! The house comes with everything you need to have an enjoyable time at the beach! We will definitely be staying here again! Barry was available to answer any questions we had! I highly recommend staying in one of their houses!

If you’re looking for a homey, beautifully appointed, beachy vibe, you’ve found it! The finishes and furnishings are lovely and functional. Many of home’s amenities are already in the house.
It is about a 3 minute drive to a gorgeous beach that isn’t overcrowded. The home is steps from one of the beautiful community pools, which is so convenient. The pool was not too busy either. It is located quite a ways from the hustle and bustle of the touristy part of Gulf Shores, so it is a 20 minute drive to the shops and restaurants. If you’re like us though, you like not being in the crazy tourist part of town. It is close to Fort Morgan and Bon Secour for history and nature lovers like us!
We had a party of 7 and it was a great fit for us! Would absolutely recommend!

“The house was spotless and with a fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. A quick trip to the market and we were all set. The pool was right across the street and the beach was a short drive. We enjoyed Fort Morgan and loved learning the history of the area. Loved our vacation there and will come back again.”

This is the first time our family has come to Gulf Shores and what a great experience! Barry and Kathy offered a great house with all the amenities a family could ask for. Our granddaughter loved the children’s room. There were so many extras for a rental beach house. We can’t wait to try out their other beach house next.

Nuestro viaje a la casa de playa de Barry y Kathy fue increíble! La hermosa vista que entra a Gulf Shores es un preludio de lo que viene. La casa se encuentra en un pintoresco y colorido vecindario. ¡Dentro de la casa hay todo lo que podríamos haber necesitado! Fue como llegar a nuestra propia casa de playa. La playa era increíble, hermosa arena, y el agua era fantástica! ¡Ah, y Roscoe, el carrito de golf, era la cereza del pastel! Nos llevo ida y vuelta a la playa todos los días con todos nuestros cachivaches. El acceso a las tiendas y restaurantes locales fue muy conveniente, pero nuestra mejor comida fue cuando conseguimos nuestras propias patas de cangrejo y mariscos en la tienda de pescado fresco para cocinar en casa. Espere, dije en casa ... sí, nos sentímos como en casa. Gracias Barry y Kathy, ¡estas vacaciones fueron una verdadera bendición!

This beach house turned into a wonderful beach home for our family of 6. Roomy, spacious, well equipped home with easy access to teh beach and steps away from a shared pool. Everything was already there for us. Well equiped kitchen for wife and daughter, charcoal grill for son, toys for grandkids, towels and linen for all. Perfect place for a week at teh beach.
Can't wait to come back.

We thought this place was going to be too good to be true, but it was exactly what was advertised! My family of 6 (2 grandparents, 2 adults, a two year old, and a 2 month old had plenty of space and more to spread out and relax comfortably after days out around the gulf. The house is beautiful and laid out conveniently for a family. A big kitchen with cabinets full of dishes made meals easy and enjoyable. Everything in the house was top notch. Barry was very nice and helpful. If we come back to the Gulf Shores again, this will be where we stay.

Barry was a great host! He made sure we had everything we needed. There were plenty of bath and beach towels. Linens and pillows were available for the beds. The house is beautifully updated. Everything was top of the line with all new appliances including a large capacity washer and dryer. The kids loved their hideout. Every room has a smart TV which eliminated any chance of a fight over what to watch. Direct TV and Netflix were available. There's a nice screened in porch to enjoy morning coffee or a late night card game. We especially loved not running out of hot water. We did a lot of laundry and didn't have to worry about showers since Barry has 2 water heaters. We had the pool all to ourselves. It was right across from the house with a nice little clubhouse with restrooms. We rented Barry's golf cart Roscoe to head to beach and explore and even made a couple of trips to The Sassy Bass. The beach is beautiful and secluded. Barry had a cooler, beach chairs and beach toys available to use. Fort Morgan Beach was much better than the public beaches in town. The main town is about 15 minutes away. There are plenty of stores etc. We had a great time!
