Perfect Getaway!
We came down for my husband's surprise birthday trip with our kids and everything was perfect! The condo was exactly like its pictured in the listing, and the location was perfect! On the quieter end of Gulf Shores, it took us 3 minutes to walk across the street to the beach from the condo and it was a close drive to all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Just what I needed
I started looking for vacation rentals in Gulf Shores early spring, my husband is not the beach lover that I am. I thought that the great history and attractions would be great for him and I would have the beach. Early May my position was eliminated at my employer and put my search on hold all that worked out then my good old dog died and then a week later My 92 year old mother died on July 2nd . I am not saying all that to be pitied but to say how much I needed a getaway. My husband said he would do what ever I wanted but staying in at a little slice of paradise was perfect for us and what we needed. The condo was spotless which is what I want and it was perfect for us decorated in the perfect beachy theme. The grounds are well maintained and get access to the beach even if across the road. We are all ready to come back. My only regret is that the weather was unusually hot and we didn’t get to play tennis. Thanks to the Wages for sharing their beautiful condo with us. Leslie checked on us several times to make sure we were doing great. 5 stars!

Wonderful Vacation!
This condo was a wonderful get-away. It was tastefully decorated and very clean. It was also more spacious than I expected. The only issue was the slow drain in the bathtub. The location was great. Close enough to the main drag but far enough away to feel peaceful. The walk to the beach was not bad and the beach itself was lovely. The pool area was beautiful and well maintained. It was nice having the tennis courts right there at the condo but they could use some work. They had several large cracks and the one net was low, but they were usable. The sunsets over the bay were beautiful but could not be seen from the condo. The owner was very attentive in her communications before, during and after the trip. She definitely deserves a five star rating! Overall we were very pleased with our experience and would recommend this condo to others.

Family of 4 vacation on the beach!
We were so excited to go on vacation! When we got to our unit, it was exactly like the pictures we saw right down to the great view off the balcony! It was VERY clean which was one of my main concerns! I like that the entire unit floor is tile, makes it a lot easier to keep the floor clean from all the sand and water that gets tracked in! Just a walk across the street to the beach or short walk to the Lagoon. We were able to barbecued on site on our last night there! Owners were very quick to respond to questions or concerns. Will definitely be contacting them next year!! 100% satisfied!

Great Stay!
We had a great stay! We stayed 4 nights. The condo was clean and nice. The beds were comfortable and the balcony looks over the pool area. It was prime vacation time when we came so there were always people out in the pool area enjoying their families. The docks and sand area by the kayaks were nice. The beach access was close, just across small parking lot then street which wasn’t too busy. The condo has just about everything you would need as far as dishes and cooking utensils. We cooked most of our meals there. It was a great time and a beautiful view!

Baseball Week
We loved the condo . It was a perfect location with the beach and docks for fishing and fun. We were in town for a baseball tournament. Overall, the area was great with lots of food and entertainment choices. Leslie stayed in contact with us throughout the week to make sure our stay was as expected. Highly recommend!

Beautiful beach condo
We really enjoyed staying in the condo! The private beach access is really convenient and even had an outdoor shower on the way back to the condo. Our boys loved the pool and the surrounding pool area is really pretty and relaxing. We loved sitting out on the balcony and enjoyed the lagoon views. The condos beach decor was so cute and the beds were really comfortable! The owners were really wonderful and easy to work with. Condo was really clean. We would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful Beach Wedding Getaway
My (now) husband and I decided to do a destination wedding and chose Gulf Shores, AL as our location. We stayed in GSSRC unit 605-B and couldn’t have asked for a better condo! The listing was very accurate. The location was away from the chaos and the neighborhood was super friendly. The view from the balcony of the lagoon was beautiful during all hours of the day, & and the area below us was picturesque-from the array of colorful flowers to the flowing waterfall into the pool-we LOVED it all! We could also see the ocean & several beach houses from the balcony walkway just outside the front door, which gave us beautiful views-especially at sunrise & sunset!
Our room was perfect for what we needed with 2 adults & 2 teenage boys. There was plenty of space and privacy for all of us! Another plus that we didn’t plan for were the multiple full-length mirrors around the room—this made the perfect space for my bridal party to get ready before our ceremony. The room was modern, clean, and decorated perfectly!
Leslie was super helpful throughout the entire process. She was always quick to respond to any questions we had, and even helped me out with some pre-wedding planning and ideas! She gave us recommendations on things to do in the area & the best restaurants to try out. We were able to check in early because no one had stayed the night before, so she sent us the check-in instructions and we got to unpack and enjoy the condo even earlier than expected! The whole experience couldn’t have been more perfect.
One tip to prospective guests that we didn’t realize beforehand...at least during our stay, GSSRC had an 11:00pm “curfew” policy. At 11 on the dot every night, the security guard made his rounds in the pool area and sent everyone out. He even monitored the guests on their balconies and intervened if he deemed them “disruptive” (which often meant just sitting outside talking casually).
This wasn’t a huge problem, as we were able to walk over to the beach and continue to visit with our guests with waves rolling in through the night. But since a lot of our families made the 10 hour trip down from Indiana, it would’ve been ideal to know about this policy, or even be allowed to sit in the pool area just outside our rooms and socialize together in a quiet and respectful manner (the majority of our guests were also staying at GSSRC, as well, and were age 30+).
Overall, the trip was more than we could’ve hoped for. We look forward to returning!
