* Guestbook comments from the owner This home was quite the find! In my initial search, I think I skipped over it since it wasn't "on the beach". I am so glad our other plans fell through and Jonathan was able to rent to us last minute. I found the area was so much quieter than the area we first chose, since it is a private beach for that area. Don't let the walk to the beach sway your decision away from his home. It really wasn't that far, nor was it busy with traffic. I do suggest bringing a wagon, or cart if you plan to take a lot to the beach with you. The kitchen was large and had enough cookware and dishes we needed for our own meals, not to mention plenty of spices. I recommend checking out everything they have there before you meal plan and grocery shop. The wetlands were an added bonus, and source of many pictures and excitement. There is not a thing that I would change about this stay other than make it longer the next time! We hope to book with Jonathan again. Mar 2018

My husband and I had a great time at Beit Sahour. Every essential item is supplied for you! The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. The location to the beach was about a five minute walk, but we didn’t mind the exercise. The weather was in the 70’s every day and we really appreciated all the beach supplies provided by the owner, especially the huge beautiful beach umbrella.
This was our first trip to Gulf Shores and we appreciated that the owner was just a phone call away. The check in and check out process was a breeze! We would come again!

The house is very easy to find, right off the main road but private enough with the local vegetation and wildlife providing a barrier around the house. Area is safe and quiet and has excellent atmosphere. Placed a short and easy five or so minute walk from the beach to the south, or the bay to the north. Large, spacious rooms that give a welcoming and open feeling are located everywhere. Amenities included during the time we were there were fully functional and included a beautiful, fully furnished sunroom and clean, refreshing pool. Some food and drinks were on site and available. Washer, dryer, and dishwasher were also utilized. Master suite had a super comfy king bed and phenomenal walk-in shower plus a large soaker tub. Spare bedroom was not used but also appeared to have a king bed and a full bathroom next to it. TVs were more than conveniently located in the living room, both bedrooms, and the sunroom. An office is next to the living room and had a functioning printer we had access to. Wi-Fi was strong and consistent throughout the house and even by the pool! We fell in love with this lovely home and can't wait to come back!

My husband, seventeen year old daughter and I spent a week at the house. There was nothing that we did not have access to. Jonathan was a phone call away regarding a minor issue with the cable. The four block walk to the beach was not bad - had the pool waiting for us when we arrived home from the beach. The outdoor shower was perfect for not tracking in sand into the house. The porch was a great place to sit and watch tv in the early evening. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

If planning on going to beach, its a long 4 block walk.and no parking around beach. Would suggest getting a rental golf cart, problem solved. If going back this would be my first choice.

Also don't let the outsides of restaurants fool you.! Both Sassy Bass and Krazy JACKS were wonderful.
